“In the name of the Father, and of the Son…”
They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; one nation shall not raise the sword against another, nor shall they train for war again. O house of Jacob, come, let us walk in the light of the Lord!Isaiah 2:4-5
During Advent, we spiritually join ourselves to all the people who lived before us who have waited for the coming the Lord and his Kingdom. As we prepare for the Light that came into the world when our Savior Jesus was born, we look forward in hope for his coming again. Yes, the world still waits for him, and for the peace that he will establish. Come, Lord Jesus.
We all need to be reminded that God is faithful, even in difficult times. Tell about something that was difficult, or a time when you felt like you needed the Light of Christ, and your hope and trust in the Lord God was rewarded.
“Our Father, who art in heaven…”
